Find the exact GPU. A real gaming PC names its graphics card, such as "GeForce RTX 5060 8GB." Some cheap desktops call themselves gaming PCs but only have graphics built into the processor. Those struggle with anything beyond light games.

Check the memory. 16GB is the floor. Some of the cheapest listings still ship with 8GB, which causes stutter once a browser or chat app runs in the background.
